Hot Studio Assists with United Religions Initiative to Foster Peace

Hot Studio, a people-centered experience design company, partnered with United Religions Initiative (URI) on redesigning the international organization’s Web site, uri.org, which is now live.

URI, which was founded in 2000, is committed to ending religiously motivated violence around the world through interfaith cooperation. It accomplishes its mission through Cooperation Circles — local or virtual groups located in more than 65 countries and comprising people from more than 100 faiths and traditions. The Cooperation Circles exchange reports with each other on how they are deepening interfaith respect and creating cultures of peace in their communities, thus encouraging further activism on this front.

Hot Studio helped URI create effective online tools that would allow Cooperation Circles to share their stories with each other and site visitors, and collaborated with URI on better communicating the organization’s reach and tremendous global impact in fostering peace on a grass-roots level.
